Tere began Aromatherapy by Tere a number of years ago in her tiny kitchen by creating blends for herself for healing, fragrancing, skin care, hair care, and emotional well-being. Impassioned with a desire for pure skin care and harmonizing body products, she began to study the ancient art/science of aromatherapy. Using only the purest essential oils and herbal ingredients, she has developed more than 400 formulas for physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health and harmony. She is certified through Holistic Therapies Institute of Ohio, has studied with the Pacific Institute of Aromatherapy, and has taken numerous aromatherapy classes and workshops throughout the country.

A native of Mississippi, Tere has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Mississippi in English, Spanish, and journalism and a Masters Degree in Mass Communications. Having worked in the corporate world for more than 20 years, she has followed her calling to the realm of personal growth using aromatherapy, Reiki, Feng Shui and other natural healing techniques.

Kathryn C. Luther, Executive Assistant for Aromatherapy by Tere, has studied for seven years under Tere Banks. An advocate of natural personal care, she is trained and experienced in the creation and manufacture of all-natural personal care products. Having studied aromatherapy theory and applications, Kathryn's creations are intuitively created based on the needs of the client and the properties of the essential oils.
